Entitlement Error: The selected allocation type is not valid for the entity type

Hi,

we are having issues with Dynamics 365 Customer Service Hub in a newly created Dev environment. We created the new dev environment and copied the "Schema and Customizations only" from our Production environment.

However when trying to create an Entitlement in the Dev environment we are getting the error: The selected allocation type is not valid for the entity type.

We have not made any changes since copying from Production so the Form is valid but there seems to be some kind of system error happening.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated!

Hi AlexBrown78,

The following thread meet the same error, one man think that the error message makes it sounds like a customization or configuration issue and suggest to contact Microsoft Support.

Finally, the problem was solved by Microsoft Support. they ran a mitigation script which solved my issue.
