Hello All,

I wanted to know how to copy or associate Sub grid C records of entity A to Sub grid C in entity B.

Wanted to associate assets in Opportunity to assets in agreement after agreement is create from opportunity.

Thanks,
ashish

    Hi partner,

    Thanks for your recognition :-)

If you create agreement from opportunity by workflow, you could add a child workflow to update the assets lookup fields, But if you craete the agreements from opportunity by subgrid, may be you need to create a custom wolkflow to do this.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

    Leo

Can we write a workflow to fill newly created agreement id to assets lookup, so we can link the assets created in opportunity to agreement also.

    Hi partner,

There is no OOB way to do this. You may need to do some coding.

You could refer to this logic.

    1. Get the current subgrid data from entity A form.

    2. Assign the record id of entity B which created from entity a to the entity c lookup fields of entity B.

You could refer to the following blogs.

I haven't tried yey, and it will be a large work to do.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

    Leo
