Hi,
Can someone define the 'As on Date' field of the physical inventory aging report,
also, is aging calculated based on last sale of item? As of last receipt of item?

you can find many information about that report at the link below:

From the link we can deduce that:
- As on date: means that you are running the report with data uptated "Up to that date";
- As per your second question about the aging: I do not know the answer, however you can follow the suggestion described on the same TechNet article and make a developer debug the classes described.

I think this "as on" date looks at the "Physical Date" on InventTrans. So regarding a PO, the ageing report would include a product receipt with a date up to and including the "as on" date inputted onto the report criteria.
Do note that a PO registration does not get included in the stock ageing report, I think because this does not cause the Physical Date to update on InventTrans.
