    Hello @rp@n,

What if; you have set the system default language as 'Japanese'!

However; I am not sure if the report header and other labels will also display in Japanese or not.

Try in test environment first and update the Forum.

Also would like to know why such mix requirement is expecting from the system? Do you mean to say; only in specific areas, it will be showing the labels in Japanese and in rest areas in English?

Is this  applicable for all reports or only this report ?

If you want  entire UI in Japanese then you have to set language to Japanese.  Standard reports will be shown in Japanese. If you are using custom report  you have to use custom label file to maintain  Japanese labels .

Data has to be entered in manually in Japanese  on UI then report is automatically going to show data in Japanese.

    HI @rp@n,

If you want to display the data in multi-language, which is retrieved from the original data source, as Reporting Services does not convert or translate data during report processing.

So if the report data source is a Japanese database, the data that appears in the report will always be in Japanese.

Sukrut, total we have 15 reports requirements.

Out if 15 , 7 reports they need in Japanese language and 8 reports in English language.

The 8 reports in English,  i am not worried,  because its behave like normal reports.

***The Japanese report,  I am thinking only how to achieve those reports?

Please suggest me the best solution.

    Hi @rp@n

You can specify a language for report via rdlContract and in this case all labels will be translated to needed language (if translations are available).

For data translations you would need to design own translation tables like for Units (Organization administration - Setup - Units - Units - Translated unit description). In data provider class you can check if for the certain translation is available for value in your translation table use it instead of the original value.

    Thanks Sergei,

    As you mentioned...

    1. You can specify a language for report via rdlContract and in this case all labels will be translated to needed language (if translations are available).

here, one thing i am sure this is for labels only. what do you mean by (if translations are available) ?

where i will check, translation is available or not ?

    Kindly elaborate please

    Hi @rp@n,

I mean label file for the Japanese language and translations for needed labels are added to this file.

for data translations we need to pick the values always  from translation table ?  see we have multiple columns like date, real value, int value, name, code , currency etc...

    how to display those ?

please give me more shed on this.

    thanks!
