Add new action into an online Customer Journey

I created a Customer Journey to send emails.

After online, it works OK.

Now I need to send more emails after original journey.

I try to edit the online journey or offline it. But it seems the journey can not add more action or edit.

How can I do it?

    Hi,

In your case, although only 46 contacts were sent the second email, two other contacts were processed in the Wait for tile. So there will be 48 contacts in the segment.

You can adjust your segment into something like the following screenshot to filter out the contacts who are delivered the second email.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

My first journey has 48 contacts and 46 finished.

Now I create a new segment with the behavior you suggest.

But the segment shows there are 48 contacts, not 46.

    Is it correct?

RE: Add new action into an online Customer Journey

    Hi,

The contacts who have processed in a customer journey cannot be processed again or added some additional processing steps.

So if you’d like to send additional emails, the most recommended way is to create a new customer journey.

You can create a dynamic segment with a behavior block to filter out the contacts who have been processed during a certain customer journey.

Then set the segment as the audience of the new customer journey after saving and going live it. It allows to send the additional emails to the contacts who have been processed in the old customer journey (which is selected in the condition of the segment).

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,
