Hi all,

I am new in using import and export framework, and every time I import into Inventory Management > Movement Journal using DMFInventJournalEntity the Item Qty is become always "1" even though I uploaded more than 1.

have anyone encounter this?,.

    Hi CRIS17

if your uploaded qty less than 1, AX will round to 1

but if more than 1, AX leave it with rounding decimals

if you have anything else, just create another manual  journal to check system behavior

    Hi Chris,

This post describes the import of a counting journal, which is similar to your movement journal blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../how-to-use-dixf-to-import-an-inventory-counting-journal-into-ax-2012-from-an-excel-source-file

Probably take a look at how they set up things and compare it with your setup.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards

    Ludwig

    Hello Chris17,

Do you have any specific min., max., quantities setup for your item?

Can you check the default and site specific order settings of your item in the released product form?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Chris17,

Is your default quantity always 1?

Can you try to change it for example to 3 or something else to verify?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Chris17,

What happens if you create this journal manually?

Do you see the same behavior?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Hi Dr. Ludwig.. I find out that the Overview Tab Qty ((InventJournalTrans).ItemQty)(which is the one we can easily seen) was fix into value =1 and General Tab Qty (InventJournalTrans).Qty was updated with correct value imported but as I have review the Target Entity for DMFInventoryJournalEntity there is no field for ItemQty only found in Staging not in Target... how can I add this into Target?
