Foreign currency revaluation - Batch job Recurrence

We have just noticed that on the Foreign currency revaluation periodic tasks in D365, the batch job feature no longer has the recurrence option only alerts, we normally setup up a batch job for each of the month at the start of each financial year so this would have been done a year ago. We are now on 10.0.41 and not sure when and why this has been removed.
 
We have just updated 10.0.43 and it is also not in this version, however I can see this version brings Enable process automation for sales ledger and purchase ledger foreign currency revaluation which may support us to schedule going forward. For now we would like to schedule our runs and cannot find an alternative solution or a reason to why this has been removed.

    I think from version 10.0.41 and in 10.0.43, Microsoft removed the Recurrence option from the batch setup of the foreign currency revaluation form for AP and AR. This aligns with the new Process automation framework introduced for Sales and Purchase Ledger revaluations, which replaces traditional recurring batch jobs with scheduled process automation flows.

    You can try to retain monthly revaluation automation, consider enabling Process automation in Feature management and configure schedules under Path: Accounts payable/receivable > Setup > Process automation.
     
    Did your environment previously use Batch group recurrence scheduling under System Admin? And would switching to Process Automation for monthly runs work for your team, or do you still need recurrence in the traditional batch form?

    I believe using the new feature may work, however we have just updated our UAT to 10.0.43 and this feature is in preview for this version, so I wanted to understand why would MS remove the recurrence feature before even releasing this new functionality? Just seems a bit odd.
