Hello,
I'm a newcomer to Dynamics so forgive me if this is a simple fix, but I am testing out embedding a Marketing Form into an external website (that I manage) and I am hit a problem that I can't find an answer to. I have created a very basic form, I have authenticated the external website in the Marketing App, I have whitelisted the site on setup the Marketing Form and so on (following this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/embed-forms).
The good news is that the form shows up on my external website test page. However, although the text blocks are fine the input fields such as First Name and Last Name don't display. I have used a blank template and the external site is really basic so I don't think it's some complex CSS issue, I am assuming it may be more that the script is not rendering the fields properly, or a permissions issue on the fields?
If anyone could get me started on how/where to troubleshoot I'd be really grateful, image of how it looks currently attached...
Thanks in advance,
Paul
Hi,
Thank you for share the results of your findings, and the fix for the issue. We will mark this thread as complete
Ideally I would delete this question but I can't see how. Turns out that it was a simple case of the default site CSS clashing with the Dynamics field styling after all. Once I've worked out the clashes I can add custom css to the form (ending with !important to make sure they take precedent over the default.css and the fields show up fine.
