Payroll State Tax setup for new W4

Hello

I have a client who has employees in Colorado and the state is telling them for 2021 to use the new W4 form when setting up employees for state tax.

In GP, the Federal Tax window has suggestions for setting up tax to follow the new W4 form (ie. number of exemptions to use). Would there need to be something similar for the State Tax window in GP? Or is just picking the proper Filing Status enough?

Hi Ron,

New tax detail for Colorado was included in the January 2021 tax release for Dynamics GP so as long as the code is current having the correct filing status in place should be all that is needed as far as State Tax setup:
