Hi all, could anyone give a quick explanation of the advantages of using warehouse shipments as to not using them?

We sometimes use it for assemble-to-order scenarios, using quantity to dhip for registering assembled items

Advance warehouse management is how we manage inventory with in specific location (for example movement from Receive -> Storage -> SHIP using different BINS, ZONE).

Pros:
1) You can use Warehouse Shipments, if you want warehouse people to avoid seeing your customer details / sales prices
2) If you want, multiple sales orders to ship together.
3) If you want to use advance warehouse management like Pick & Put-Away
4) If you don't want to delete the sales order after posting....
Cons:
You need to do additional entry... Shipment can be very easily done from Sales Order screen with single screen

hi Mohana, thanks for reply, the company in question only has one location, then they use multiple Bins inside this location/
If you have different warehouses (locations) then we need to use Warehouse shipments etc.
