Setup Development Environment for D365 F&O using Visual Studio 2022 or 2019

Hello Gurus,

I just started working on the D365 project. For D365 F&O, I want to build a development environment. With my limited understanding, I tried a lot of different things and installed PowerApps extensions. But I won't be able to locate a Dynamics 365 project type. Menu options for Dynamics 365 are also absent. Do you have any advice for me as I try to build up a development environment with Visual Studio 2022 or 2019? What actions should be taken next? How can I construct customized forms, connect to the D365 environment, deploy the modifications, etc.?
