How can I extract data from Voucher Transactions by specifying a period?

Hello,

I am a part of Finance and accounting team of the company.

It would be very nice if someone could kindly let me know how to specify the period when we do data extraction from Voucher Transactions.

For example, how can I extract voucher transactions specifying the period from March 1st to Sep 30th of this year?

Also, when we want to use the extracted data in Excel, let me know whether direct copy and paste of data from AX to an Excel file is the best way.

Thank you very much in advance!

You can use the short cut Ctrl+T for older Ax versions or Ctrl+Shift+E. Alternatively click the Open in Microsoft office button on the top right of the page and click export to excel button to export your data in D365 F & O

Kindly acknowledge the reply in case if it answered your query.

    Hi,

You can use the date field to extract the relevant data, in order to specify a date range kindly mention the date range in the following manner 010319..300919, please see the screenshot below for referral as to how to specify the date range. You need to use 2 full stops for a date range between the start date and the end date, Please check your system's format for date as it could be D/M/Y or M/D/Y and add accordingly

You can also add the date range on top of the date range field in the inquiry itself. If you have D365 you have a criteria to select as shown in the screenshot below, if you have an older version of AX then use the same 2 full stops method for specifying the date range.

Please see the video as well for referral.
