Dear Community,
I am new in D365 and i need your help. Is there a way to access the back end table where i can get access them and make my on reports, by using joints and merger.
Regards
Saad Iqbal
Hi Saad,
There's two ways of doing that, as far as I know:
First one would be to generate a data provider class, where you would create the query that will be used to populate your report:
docs.microsoft.com/.../how-to-use-a-report-data-provider-class-in-a-report
docs.microsoft.com/.../walkthrough-creating-a-report-bound-to-a-report-data-provider-class-x-business-logic
Second one would be to use an AOT Query as a data source for the report:
docs.microsoft.com/.../how-to-use-a-query-in-a-report
Hope that answers your question.
Thanks for your support.
IS there an easy way without coding. just dig and drop table and joints just like in power BI.
Hi again,
Sorry for the delay.
Not that I know of, at least not Out-of-Box, but there are 3rd party solutions like Lasernet that can aid you with that:
appsource.microsoft.com/.../formpipe.lasernet
