Hi,

We developed Power BI embedded report on our local VM. However after we deploy to the Tier 2 environment, it seems the data are from Dev VM machine? How can we reset the connection from Power BI report to the Tier 2 environment?

Hi Yuji,

Please have a look at this DOC about specify Power Bi settings:

docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-power-bi-integration

And remember to refresh entity store from system administration.

We did not use PowerBI.com, just Power BI embedded. Is it still the same setup?

Hi Yuji,

Did you create .pbix file?

You should upload the report into LCS and deploy the report in your environment.

single tier needs special handling and deployment of entity store

multi tier sandboxes, just need to refresh entity store
