Add a column to the "Warehouse Shipments" screen

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Can anyone tell me how to add the column "External Document No.:" on the "Warehouse Shipments" screen?

I've looked through all the customize options and can't find it so far.

    @Maneesha,

"Warehouse Shipment Header" is the SourceTable for Warehouse shipment.

And "Warehouse Shipment Header" table already has "External Document No." field.

User will just need to bring it to the page.

    NEWTONAV ,

There is no "External Document No" by default on Warehouse Shipments , if you need to add it you need to proper define which Ext Doc No you need to add here

Ext Doc No is having on several pages

Eg : Sales order header/ Trasfer order header & etc

    So properly define it ,

Yes, you can open Development Environment.

    1. Open Page Warehouse Shipment List (7339) in design mode.

    2. Add "External Document No." (from Source Table "Warehouse Shipment Header" - system will take care of this)

    3. Save an Compile the Page.

    4. Restart the client.

If external document no field is there then yoi open the page in design mode from object designer and add the field in that page

If field is not available then you need to add that field in the table and then display the same

You must have a developer license and "External Document No." field can be shown from developing by a developer.
