I'm new to D365 Project Operations, I have a requirement where the customer would like to track the progress of a project including the cost consumption of the project. Not all resources are internal, there could be situations where there is only one internal resource (project manager) and the rest are contracting organisations where they provide x hours or a fixed dollar amount to the project.
My question is, in Project Operations, how can this be updated against a project? ie x hour have already been consumed or x dollar amount has already been consumed. The project can be short terms and we wouldn't be giving contractors access to the system to complete any time sheeting.
