How i can hide some D365 applications from the side menu of the new UCI?
I understand that you want to hide certain apps for certain users -
That is possible via Manage Roles options for the UCI app - this will limit the access to that app only to the users with that security role and for the users who dont have that role assigned it will not show up. You can hide the D365 Apps from the side menu using the option My Apps under Settings. In this menu, you will find all the apps from the side menu of the new UCI. Got o the app you want to hide from certain users. Click int he ellipses(...) and you will get the option to manage roles. Click Manage Roles and uncheck the roles from the users that you don't want them to see the App. This works very similar to Form Security in a respective Entity. You can assign roles to be able to access certain forms and other ones not to access it.
If for somehow, you are not able to find the My Apps option under settings, you may need to configure it in the default solution. Here are the instructions:
