Hello,

On Dynamics AX 2009 -

I declared web service, and everything works fine.

I have changed  some names of the service.

After changing the services I cannot access the new functions (throw an exception - I don't know exactly how to check last exception, but there is exception for any new function or property).

I did - restart the computer of AOS + my own computer, but none - still the problem exists.

I did also as recommanded : copy the new service directory (with dll and app.config, or whatever in service folder) to :

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\50\Application\Appl\{appl name}\ServiceReferences\{service ref name}\

Still - I cannot get the new changes.

Is there anything else I should do in order to have the new methods / properties takes into affect?

Thanks :)

Is there any

The other environment is Dynamics CRM, which I can transfer into/from Dynamic AX via webservice on the CRM server.

I have found by some workarround a way clearing the cache.

(As the recommandation on microsoft.public.axapta.programming.narkive.com/.../ax2009-web-service-staticclassmethod-caching after I did full restart to all related computers - client, ax server, and the server which the web-service on it, and update SysSQMSettings guid to zeros, but things still don't work).

This seems to be a cache issue, and whether there are problematic things on db either on anything needs clearing - what should be cleaned up?

    Thanks :)

I have created C# project, and test web-service on C# - works fine, so I persume this is web-service problem.

The web-service is asmx and not wsdl as AX expected, even I declare the web service name with ?wsdl at end.

Maybe AX has problem to declare new fashion  web-service, so what my solution is to write on C# dll, and add reference to C# dll.

    Any other suggestions?

Did you regenerate the service reference in AOT?

I did regenerate (with ?wsdl at end, and without it - at each try, I didn't get the new methods).
