While creating the inter-company vendor invoices for timesheets, the Account Distribution form in the Financials tab, does not populate the Project and category against the respective ledger dimension in the segmented entry "Distribution_LedgerDimension".

This is not allowing me to post the vendor invoice.
I am able to populate the fields once I click the reset button in the action pane.
If I have multiple lines in the vendor invoice, I have to open the AD form for each line and reset the line to populate the fields.
Is there a way in which we can populate the fields in the segmented entry automatically without even opening the accounting distribution form? ie, when the vendor invoice is generated?
Below are the steps I am going through to help you replicate the issue:
Have two companies A and B.
Change to Company B.
Post a timesheet against Company A's project.
Generate intercompany invoices and post the same.
This creates vendor invoice in Company A under "Pending Vendor Invoices".
Change to Company A.
Open the vendor invoice and select a line. Click on the Financials drop down and select "Accounting Distributions".
Kindly let me know if you find anything wring in my process.
Would appreciate a workaround to automatically populate the segmented entry values.

The financial dimensions for IC projects are limited to a single company.
Please also see the following answer from MS for a similar question: community.dynamics.com/.../240026
If you can't link your financial dimensions to your IC vendor or IC ledger account in Company A, you will have to enter it manually or implement a system modification.
