Do we have to upgrade to GP 18.3 in order to run payroll checks dated 2021 (includes Tax Round 1 update)

Payroll will still run on 1/1/2021 with round 1 taxes for 2021 and your version not on 18.3

There are some year end changes for payroll you will want to review and see if you need to install them, for the W2 and ACA forms, but payroll will still process.
