Email Router error - "The SMTP address has no mailbox associated with it."

After upgrading Exchange from 2007 to 2013 I am attempting to re-configure the email router. I think I've configured everything correctly however when I test mailbox access I get an error on the Incoming Status which states that "The SMTP address has no mailbox associated with it."??

    Hello Joe,

    Please follow the below steps to resolve the issue.

    SYMPTOMS

    This issue occurs when you provide a mail-enabled user with a delegate or service account in a Microsoft Exchange Web Service (EWS)-based application in an Exchange Server 2013 environment. This issue will not occur when you use EWS-based application impersonation.

    RESOLUTION

    To resolve this issue, install the the following update:

    Cumulative Update 8 for Exchange Server 2013

    MORE INFORMATION

    This issue occurs because, when Exchange Server 2013 processes a  FindItem  request, Exchange Server 2013 tries to log the request. That causes an attempt to look up mailbox attributes. However, a mail-enabled user does not have the mailbox attributes. Therefore, Exchange Server 2013 throws an "ErrorNonExistentMailbox" error.
