Hello,
Can anyone, please explain what is needed at this step?
Each time I'm creating a batch and posting that batch it seems as it's doubling the amounts

In this step, it establishes what your current amount are in you GL account and what the value of these accounts will be based on the quantities of item you currently have on hand (After Reset values).
You should only need to run this step once. Once it is boosted, the HITB Reset is basically complete.
Can you explain in more detail what your issue is?

I am having the same issue as Rusi. After running the HITB reset tool, the quantity and value are doubled. Plus, the HITB report does not show a Balance Brought Forward for each item. I ran step 4 & 5 only one time using the same GL account Cost of goods sold. Can you please advise what I am missing? Thank you in advance for your time looking in o my issue.
