Hi

Since version 6 was installed two days ago, Business Cental has stopped working the tax calculation that must evaluate the amount to generate the tax. If any value is placed, it does not calculate the tax, if any figure is placed, it does not calculate the tax.

The amounbt is 324.000 and the Maximum is 199.000 but  BC does not calculate it

Do you know if V6  BC have something wrong with it

Thanks,
I have the same question (0)

Version 6 means BC26.0? I'm not sure about your specific version. You can check the update log below to see if updating to BC26.1 can solve the problem.
You can also find standard known issues published by Microsoft below.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hope this might be helpful:
It's very likely that Cumulative Update 06 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises (Application Build 29777, Platform Build 29718), which you refer to as "Version 6", introduced a bug related to tax calculation based on maximum amounts in the tax detail.
There is a known issue documented by Microsoft with Cumulative Update 06 that specifically mentions a "MISTAKE V6 TAX DETAIL FIELD MAXIMUM AMOUNT/QTY." This issue describes exactly the problem you are encountering: the system fails to calculate tax when an amount exceeds the defined maximum in the tax detail.
Therefore, the issue is likely not a general problem with tax calculation in this version, but a specific bug related to the maximum amount/quantity evaluation in the tax detail.
    What you can do:
     * Confirm your exact Build Number: Go to Help -> About in your Business Central to verify that your Application Build is indeed 29777 and your Platform Build is 29718.
     * Refer to Microsoft's Documentation: Look for official release notes or known issues related to Cumulative Update 06 for Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises. The Dynamics 365 Community forum post titled "MISTAKE V6 TAX DETAIL FIELD MAXIMUM AMOUNT/QTY" directly addresses this.
     * Apply a Hotfix or a Later Cumulative Update: Microsoft often releases hotfixes or subsequent cumulative updates to address known bugs. Check Microsoft's support site for any available fixes for this specific issue in Version 6. Applying the latest cumulative update for your version is generally recommended as it includes fixes for previous issues.
     * Workaround (Potentially): As a temporary workaround, you might need to adjust the maximum amount defined in your tax detail to be higher than the amounts you are processing, although this might not be a suitable long-term solution depending on your tax requirements.
     * Contact your Microsoft Partner: Your Microsoft partner can provide specific guidance for your situation, help you identify the correct hotfix or update, and assist with its implementation.
In short, the tax calculation issue you are experiencing in "Version 6" of Business Central is likely a known bug related to the maximum amount evaluation in the tax detail introduced in Cumulative Update 06. You should confirm your build number and look for available hotfixes or apply a later cumulative update from Microsoft.
