Does corrective purchase credit memo reinstate purchase order to unreceived state?

I have incorrectly received and invoiced an item line on a purchase order.

I raised a corrective credit memo from the purchase invoice that was created.

Should I expect to see the stock available to receive on the purchase order reinstated?

    Please check this, the credit memo reverses the payment, for you to reverse the inventory use the return order

    Your stock will decrease and you will need to create a new purchase order with the correct detail.

    Hello, thanks, I was looking for a more versatile approach. I have used your suggestion as a work around t fix the issue but even the reseller help desk seems to think that the original Purchase order line should be reinstated.
