Error in NAV 2015 Installation

Hi,

We tried to install NAV 2015 (Cumulative Update 2 Build 38798) in a VM machine. All selected components installed successfully except the Web Server Components.

The problem is .netFramework was not registered, for this you need to uninstall .netframework --> restart the server -> install --> .netframework & try to install NAV

Thanks for you reply. Not able to resolve the error so far.

Steps performed :

1. Enable Execution of PowerShell Scripts (njbblog.blogspot.in/.../windows-server-enable-execution-of.html)

2. Port 8080 added in Firewall

3. Uninstalled & Installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2

4. Server restart

5. Uninstalled & Installed NAV 2015.

Please suggest if something is missing in troubleshooting. No entry in Event Log, so bit difficult to move in the right direction.

Did you check event log for it?

IIS Management Compatibility Roles should be enable.

I would suggest to give a try stopping and restarting the IIS before attempting again to install the web client and share the event log.

RegistrySearch: Searching for registry key value. Id = 'IISNETFXInstalled'

RegistrySearch: Searching for registry key value. Id = 'IISNETFX45Installed'

Registry value not found. Key = 'SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp\Components', Value = 'NetFxExtensibility45'

The .net registry was not found during the NAV installation, uninstall the .Net4.5 restart the server & install NAV

Dot Net 4.5 installed as a pert of Prerequisite Components installation.

Port 8080 not in use by any program, I checked this with command netstat -aon | find "8080"

Uninstallation & Installation done multiple time in troubleshooting.
