Perform a process after purchase order approval

Hi,

I want to perform a process after purchase order approval. Lets say i want to create a record in a new table as soon as purchase order status has been set to approve.

Please can someone guide on which objects should i look for my customization.

    Hi.

    There are numerous places this could be accomplished depending on the exact requirements.

    1. If you want something to simply happen at the end of the workflow cycle then look at adding code in class: PurchTableTemplateEventHandler.completed

    2. If you want to have it as an optional or configurable step then you could create a automated task for your workflow (similar to Auto-posting invoices)

    3. If you want it to occur whenever a purchase order's status is set to "approved" then take a look at class: VersioningPurchaseOrder.approveChangeRequest

    Maybe you can think to setup a Flow / LogicApps ? depending on what you're exactly need ?
