Oddity with currency ID when adding EFT bank. Some users default to US others have blank in GP 2018

When adding a new customer and setting up the customers EFT bank in the "Customer EFT Bank Maintenance" window some users will have the currency ID populate with US Currency when they select the US as the Bank/Country Region others have to manually enter the data.

I have looked at their security roles which match, I have looked in the Dynamics 1400 series tables to see if there are any settings and I have tried having the users log in on other workstations. No luck. Any thoughts on where/what I might be missing.
