Embedded Power BI not working on iPhone / iPad

Hi Everyone,

Within Dynamics 365 we have several power bi dashboards that are available for our users. But the dashboards do not load when viewing them within the Dynamics 365 app for iOS. This works fine on a windows PC and also on an Android Phone. We have updated the device to the newest version and also use the newest version of the Dynamics 365 app. We have also tested with the app for Power Apps but then we are still getting the same results. The screen shows everything but the power bi information keeps loading and loading.

The dashboards are enabled for mobile use and the component is enabled for unified client within CRM.

Anyone else ever had this issue or knows a possible solution?

    We have just done the most recent update (which controls cross website tracking) and all of our embedded dashboards are no longer working - anyone else having the same issue?

    Thanks I tested this on 3 devices and all 3 work after changing this setting!

    Hello,

    As of iOS 14 update there is a setting that you will have to adjust in the ios settings in order to make this work:

     

    1. Go to the iOS settings of the device
    2. Go to the settings of the Dynamics 365 App
    3. Switch on the toggle "Allow Cross-Website Tracking" (If for some reason you don't see this toggle in the options, it means you will then need to update to the latest version of the app)

     

    This option needs to be enabled because Power BI embedded uses cross-site cookies for authentication (dynamics and Power BI internet domains.) This is a new requirement starting from iOS 14:
