Workflow User group for Sequence 2

Hi,

I've a Purchase order workflow with workflow user group having 4 approval members. three members with sequence 1 and one approver with sequence 2.

the requirement is such that once the sequence 2 user approves then the Purchase order should Release.

I've tried adding the condition in the workflow : Pending approval 2 AND Sequence 2 AND Status Approved but the document doesn't release.

any suggestions?

    Hello,

    If any one of your 3 users approve the request, an approval request will be sent to the user with sequence 2.==> For the other 2 Approvers from Sequence 1, the Approval Status will still be Open. Do you know how can we make them Approved (for all approvers from Sequence 1)

    Hi,

    Firstly when approval is sent, first it is sent for users in workflow user group with sequence 1.

    In your case 3 users with sequence 1 and one user with sequence 2.

    If any one of your 3 users approve the request, an approval request will be sent to the user with sequence 2.

    If you want all users with sequence 1 to approve and only then notification should be sent to user with sequence 2 then you'll require to customize it

    Hi Chris,

    thank you for your reply, now the workflow works fine.

    Do you know if it's possible to send the request and notification to the user with sequence 2 only after users with sequence 1 have approved their request?

    Hi Samuele,

    I've not written any code for it but only made changes to the workflow condition as below image.

    This is standard Purchase Quote workflow only I've changed the conditions

    Hi Chris,

    i've tried to follow your instruction but i haven't been able to make the workflow works.

    i have a vendor qualification workflow with workflow user group having 4 approval members: three members with sequence 1 and one approver with sequence 2 like your workflow.

    Could you please paste the code of your workflow so i can see more details?

    Hi All,

    I resolved this issue. In the Workflow condition set Sequence as 2 and Status as Approved and it works!
