RDLC Invoice Report

ReportReport
Posted on by

On Dynamics Nav 2013, I have created a new Sales Invoice Report (by using the 206 standard report as a model)

I have a problem with all decimal fields (I suppose because they are aligned on the right) :

The number the most at the right side is slightly cut

I do not have any idea where it does come from - I tried to keep the same properties as in the standard report, but I changed the font.

I'm just beginning with RDLC - Can anybody bive me some hints ?

Thanks

Good point that the issue exists in all other reports as well!

Please check here http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nav/archive/2013/02.aspx article "NAV 2013 - Reports may be difficult to read when printing over Terminal Services". (The direct article link is currently damaged).

I just checked the standard report (invoice and others) and there is the same problem on all printed documents I tried

I will check as soon as possible in an other environnement ...

    CanGrow is already true

change of font I tried - no change

Don't really know what to do :(

Oh, this is weird ... I have never encountered this when printing. The cells are large enough to take in the whole value.

I'd suggest to either change the font or try to set property CanGrow = True.

    Hello,

    The problem happens on Printing

Please find the joined picture link to see exactly what happens

Did you check this by screen or actual print?

If by screen, this could be a display issue only. Never trust the page preview but always click the little green icon above in the print preview. This is called the "print layout" and shows the document the exact way it will be printed. You should also use the zoom functionality.

If this is not a display issue, it would be helpful to provide us with a screenshot.
