How to add work center type 'labour' to a routing?

Hi all,

I tried to add a work center with the type 'labour' to a routing, but this is not possible. When I change the type to 'machine', I can add the work center to a routing. Does someone know why this is? If I cannot add it to the routing, what is the meaning of a 'labour' work center?

If I have an employee with a cost of €15 per hour, and making a product takes 4 minutes, how can I add these costs to the product costs statistics below?

    I think you have a customized/localized Statistics screen, as Labour Cost is not a standard part of the Prod. Order Statistics screen.  Here is the standard Statistics in v24:
     
    You need to check with your partner or developer as to the proper way to enter data to populate that row.

    How to add work center type 'labour' to a routing?
    out of box, BC only has 2 types of work centers: work center and machine center.  Machine center could be set up below work center. Either could be set up to represent equipment, human resource, subcontractor etc. Apart from building an extension, you could set up a dimension to differentiate labor cost work centers or assign labor work center different general production posting groups as workaround.
