When can we expect some news about GP and Windows 11 compatibility?
As of right now, I haven't see anything 'official' about Windows 11 and Dynamics GP, whether that will be the year-end update, a release before that, or the next GP major version, i.e. GP 18.4, etc.
Let me see if I can find anything out and if I do, I'll update this forum letting you know.
Thanks
I tested GP18.3.1290 on a Windows 11 virtual machine with another virtual machine loaded SQL server 2019 on Windows Server 2022, so far so good as I have not seen any issue yet, GP Webclient & Management reporter 2012 are also function on both virtual machines. Most VPNs I have tested so far with Windows 11 are working good as well except FortiClient V6, Windows 11 will work FortiClient 7 and above. I will test some third party products later.

I have this same question and it doesn't appear that there's been a definitive answer that I could find. I even reached out to our provider (but haven't heard back). My org is going to upgrade everyone to Windows 11 and I need to know if GP is going to work.
Mid year 2022 is the tentative release where Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 will be supported.
This may happen before then, but that is the current target. Probably SQL 2022 as well.
Interesting. So, if I understand you correctly, if we upgrade to Windows 11 now, GP may or may not work. We have GP 2018 R2 right now on SQL Server 2016. Can you tell me if a GP Upgrade/Update is required? Thanks!
Correct, no current version of Dynamics GP has been tested on Windows 11, so we couldn't guarantee either way and we would not troubleshoot any Dynamics GP issues on Windows 11, specifically issues more related to the OS such as installation and display issues.
Dynamics GP 2018 is compatible with SQL 2016

Will we see support for Windows on ARM?
Hi Enrique
Do we want support for Windows on ARM? It would never be native support so it would have to be emulated which would not perform as well.
I would ask for Dexterity and GP to support 64 bit before I would think about ARM support.
Regards
David
Microsoft has updated the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. ... A processor of 1Ghz or faster with at least 2 cores on compatible 64-bit processor or system on a chip (SoC) At least 4GB of RAM.
