Customer Pool Criteria - Invalid Filter Error

Hello All -

After setting the customer pool criteria I receive this message:

The filter Customers.Name is invalid and will not be added to the query for one of the following reasons: (1) The data source is not part of this query. (2) The query is split into multiple queries due to 1:n fetch mode. (3) The data source is used in a sub query.

If I remove the Customer name field from the criteria then the pool is saved without this message appearing otherwise the criteira is not saved and no aging snapshot is created. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    Hi Barry,

If you need to filter on the name, have you tried the field Name from the Global address book table? The name field on the customers table is not a real field. A customer is linked to a global address book party which contains the name.

André - the Customer table with field 'Customer' is one of the default tables listed when I click on Select Pool Criteria. But, I'm not selecting Customer as one of my criteria. In my example I only chose table 'Customer aging snapshot' line. It doesn't seem to matter which table I choose though, as I always get the error message and am not able to save the pool criteria. I have to manually remove the Customer table in order to proceed.

    Thanks for your response.

    Hi Barry,

I tried to reproduce your issue and now noticed what you experience as the issue. When you create new pools the query is indeed showing the Customers.Name field in the ranges which is causing an error if you don't remove it.

It can be considered as a bug. You can create a support ticket for Microsoft Support to log this incident.
