Configurable Business Documents - Word format - Show/Hide fields

Good morning/evening,

There is alot of information here so I apologise upfront

Background

  • Using D365FO
  • Requirement is to create Collection Letter format 
  • I am using ER and Configurable business documents
  • Standard D365FO uses the NOTE field on the Collection Letter sequence to provide for specific details for each Collection letter i.e. different note for Letter 1 as compared to Letter 2

Requirement

  • What I want to be able to do is have two sections in the Collection Letter CBC Word document
    • Section 1 for Letter 1
    • Section 2 for Letter 2
  • Question/request
    • Is there some way that I can HIDE Section 2 when I am producing Letter 1
    • And vice versa, HIDE Section 1 when I am producing Letter 2.

    I have set up 2 separate documents and use a condition in Print Management (Collection letter code)

    You can you can condition in ER.
    If you have both sections in one document, you can use case function on Electronic reporting format designer.
    Example:
    CASE(

    Enums.CustCollectionLetterCode.'Collection letter 1',"Collection letter 1",
    Enums.CustCollectionLetterCode.'Collection letter 2',"Collection letter 2",
