I'm new to D365 for Finance and Operations.
I'd like to practice development for the product freely.
Anyone who knows how to use free development environment please let me know.

If you work for a partner you can download a VM from LCS that is free.
Alternatively sign up on lcs and download the vhd from asset library
You should have at least windows 10 and RAM of 16 GB to install VM(Hyper V).
You need to be a part of an organization that is either a D365FO customer or partner. Then you have access to dev VMs in Lifecycle Services. If you are not a customer or a partner you can't get a dev VM.
Important note to add is that the VM is pre-configured with trial licenses for OS and SQL. You can re-arm a few times. Note that you cannot use Visual Studio on this development machine if you don't have an appropriate Visual Studio license.
