Subscriptions in Real time marketing

Since Microsoft recommend a transition to RTM, we are trying to set up a plan for this transition and thereby avoid using Outbound Marketing altogether. 

We're facing a challenge in working with subscription lists or marketing lists.
It appears that this functionality is not even included in the entity navigation.

How do we go about establishing subscription management and opt-in/opt-out processes without the availability of marketing lists?

If there is support for this in Real Time Marketing, how can we access it, and what are the best practices recommended by Microsoft in this new system or framework that they have in place now?

    Hi Partner,
     
    Currently Real-Time Marketing and Outbound Marketing are still in mixed use, i.e. Real-Time Marketing uses the outbound Subscription Centre.
    However, at the same time, Microsoft encourages the use of the preference centre in real-time marketing.
     
    And, for now, real-time marketing will still reference the DoNotEmail and DoNotBulkEmail fields, but your consent submitted in real-time marketing will not affect outbound marketing.
    The line between real-time marketing and outbound marketing will be much clearer in the future.
