Transform Dynamics for Marketing Full License into "Solution Only" or "Sandbox Solution"

Hi all,

we deployed the full version of Dynamics 365 for Marketing accidentally on our Test-Instance. The full version license is obviously necessary for the production environment.

Is it possible to transform this version into the "solution only" version or "sandbox" version? I don't want to remove the solution and deploy again the "solution only" or "sandbox" version on the instance.

Hi Thomas,

To achive this you need to uninstall the Dynamics Marketing application

You can see an instruction on this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/uninstall-marketing

The Marketing uninstall wizard handles most of the uninstall process. The uninstall wizard:

Removes all services for Marketing, event management, and Dynamics 365 Connector for LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms

Removes the marketing insights service and its data

Turns off user syncing from Office 365 for Dynamics 365 Marketing users

Frees your Dynamics 365 Marketing license for use with another Dynamics 365 instance
