Is there a way to configure partial tax exemptions?

In the "Sales tax groups" form, under "Setup" FastTab, we have an option to exempt sales tax from being calculated. Is there a way we can select what percentage of a particular sales tax code is exempted? Say for example, there is a tax code with 10% as its value and 25% of it is exempted from sales tax, how do we achieve this requirement?

    Hi

This function is mainly available in Europe.

You may log a globalisation request for this to be available in other country as well.

    Thanks Ramit,

It was my mistake. I was looking under the incorrect country. I needed it for Denmark and the "Non deductible %" field is available for Denmark.

I truly appreciate your time and assistance on this!

    Regards,

    Neeraj

    Hi,

Please tell me the company you are using? I mean which country?

I can check from my end.

    Hi Ramit,

I did try that. The field is just not there.

Perhaps, customization is my last option.

    Thanks,

    Neeraj

    Hi,

Can you add a field if not there?

It is a standard field so it should be there.

    Hi Ramit,

    Thanks for the reply!

I confirm that yours and Ludwig's understanding of my question is correct but just that I don't see the field which Ludwig highlighted in his post.

    Thanks again!

    Thanks Ludwig for the reply!

Could you please tell me the Environment version information of the system from which you took that screenshot? (Can find those details on LCS environment page)

I do not see the "Non deductible %" field at my end and here is my environment version information.

Application release - Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (10.0.13)

    Platform release - Update37 (7.0.5746.35610)

Here's a screenshot of what I see at my end.

    Thanks again for the response!

    Hi Neeraj,

Like Ludwig shared, that non deductible percentage is for reporting/non reporting tax amount.

Please note- if you add 25% in that column, means. 25% vat will be posted  to your expense account as you mentioned 25% is non deductible VAT and rest 75% will be in VAT.

I suggest you to share your exact scenario to avoid mis management in VAT.
