copy the purchase order lines to the sale order lines

I would like to know if there is a way to copy the purchase order lines to the sale order lines and vice versa. I tried the copy function, but it doesn't work. I also tried the function to create a purchase order from the sale order, but apparently, if I have enough stock, it won't create it, and it's not a dropship.
