We are exploring the CRM D365 Knowledge base and configured some SharePoint paths to be included in the search. This seems to work as expected in the sense that it is picking up the documents from the SharePoint location. But as we see from strange behavior we want to get a better understanding on how this integration exactly works. Unfortunately the existing Microsoft documentation does not explain a lot.
Does anyone already using this integration more information?
1) Which types of content are being picked up: word, pdf, text files, excel, powerpoint,...?
2) Which information is being crawled: title, content of a document, metatadata,...?
3) With which frequency is the SharePoint source being crawled for new documents versus updates on documents?
4) There seems to be a path limit of 100 characters in the configuration. Can this be modified?
