Hi

Does any one know wich Office 365 license we need to integrate an on-premise NAV 2013 installation with Office 365? We have looked at the license models thats called "Mid size business" and "E3" and want to go with the "Mid size" thing, but I need to be sure that we then can publish data and work with diagram/charts etc in office 365 (Odata).

Thanks!

    hi,

    interesting topic.

My Opinion : looking at this course would seem sufficient version you indicated "Mid size business" (it is a pre-requisite of the course)

    Course:

    www.qbsgroup.com/.../training-dev-102-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2013-r2-in-office-365.aspx

    Prerequisites:

The ideal profile for this training is an application consultant/developer with experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013, and awareness knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and Office 365.

"""Please ensure that you have an Office 365 account, otherwise sign up for a trial account for "Office 365 Midsize Business" in advance here"""

Please ensure that you have an Azure subscription that is coupled to your Office 365 subscription.

Thanks for your answer Roberto. It looks like the Midsize license should cover the basic integration demands but after reading the "comparison paper" It seems like we need the E3 to be able to use the Power BI capabilities in Excel and Sharepoint Online as well as the Business Connectivit Services (for other data source than Dynamics NAV).
