PO with adding a free supplementary different item?

So im trying to do a PO with an applied discount for another different free supplementary item order.

example like:

im buying a bolt from a vendor and automatically gets a screw for free.

Im only able to find a configuration for a free same item supplementary, please advice.

    Kindly let us know if you want some discount to be applied to purchase order if you buy one item with another or is it the scenario where you want to add other items if you buy some?

    Kindly share the scenario what you are trying to achieve.

    yes, i mean like that. you but one item and you get another item for free. (note that the free item is not the same with the one purchased.)

    HI Adrian,

    If you want to process one Item as purchase & another Item as free you can do either giving second item which you get giving 100% discount or with Zero purchase price. depends on your business process.

    Hi Adrian,

    You can also use the product package functionality. Create a product package consisting of the main item and the free item and while creating the PO, you can explode the package to get the package lines on the PO.
