In our company we both have regular sales and projects.
To prevent people from making a project when it is actually just a sale we'd like to block certain customers for projects.
Is ther a way to do this in AX 2012 ?

Hi Martin,
One standard possiblity would be to allow people creating projects but only certain expert users changing the project stage to 'in process'.
This allows your colleagues creating projects but they cannot post transactions and invoice the customers until your expers have allowed them to do that by changing the project stage.
The only thing required for doing that is changing the user rights for changing the project stage.
