Dears,

I have very strange issue with VsAssemblie AX client and Server side not generating VsAssemblie for new changes for C# projects for every redploy to AX after making the changes/creating new C# forms in existing project. Please find this link. I have same issue but no solution is provided.

Thanks

Faqru

You said that you have an issue with "VsAssemblie AX client and Server side not generating VsAssemblie", but you also said that you have the same problem as discussed on StackOverflow, which is about server side only (the guy there said that "project is generated for the client vsassemblies folder"). Can you clarify whether you have the problem on client as well?

How do you deploy your changes?

    Hello Martin,

Thanks for reply. I didn't said VsAssemblies is not completely generating. Its generating for new .net projects. But if I made any changes like adding new forms in existing projects than VsAssemblie is  completely disappeared from client side. The changes deployed like (Build->Add to AOT->Deploy).

    Thanks

Aha, so it's a completely different problem than the one at StackOverflow. You have a problem on side of AX client and it's about development, not about deployment to production. Therefore the discussion at StackOverflow isn't relevantin your case.

What if you rebuild your project?

Don't you get any message in the Output window?

By the way, what kind of forms are you adding?

Yes. If I rebuild the project same issue. After rebuild and deploy when I calling form in AX the Message is   "Error executing code:  (object) has no valid runable code in method". I'm calling windows application forms.

"Error executing code:  (object) has no valid runable code in method" means that you have compilation errors in the code you're trying to run. Compile it, review the errors and fix them.

Nevertheless this seem to be related to your other thread Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.ManagedInterop.InvalidLogonInSingleSessionException. And it seems that the whole idea about using Windows Forms inside AX is questionable at best, therefore maybe we shouldn't invest more time into it.

So you mean you don't have any solution to provide. And there is no solution for  windows froms inside AX and communicating via AX 2012 business connector ? No soltution for InvalidLogonInSingleSessionException when we use windows froms inside AX and communicating via AX 2012 business connector ?

I already offered several solutions for your business requirement.

But I can't offer a solution for creating an AX session from another AX session, because it's not possible (as the exception told you). It's also not needed at all - why would you log into AX if your code is already executed inside a session where you're logged on? It's clearly wrong; you should abandon this incorrect design and use of the possible ones.

    Thanks for clarification.
