Marketing forms - can you track form abandonment rate?

Hello

For D365 marketing forms, is there a way to check the abandonment rate? I would like to understand how many people start to fill out the marketing form but then do not press submit or complete the form.

Thanks,
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Our team has analyzed your requirements and conducted some tests, and as far as the results are concerned, there is no out-of-the-box functionality that meets your needs.

    Here is a possible alternative.
Based on our testing results, if your user accesses MKT Form, whether it is submitted or not, and is captured by Insights, you can view the "Visiting Users" and "Submitted Users" in the Insights tab, and if the user has been submitted or if there is specific information displayed in the Insights tab, while the "Submitted Users" and "Submitted Users" tabs are not available. If a user has been submitted or specific information is displayed on the Insights tab, while a visiting user is not, you can use this information to roughly determine which users are visiting but not submitting forms.

But as I mentioned above, this is just a possible alternative, in our tests, if a user accesses the form with two browsers, it generates two access logs, but it's actually the same user who accessed it. This would seriously affect your form submission rate calculations.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
