remember user and password in gp2013 grayed out

Hi All,

We just upgraded to GP2013 R2 and one issue that came up from the users is the remember user and password is grayed out. I didn't notice this on my computer because since I use SA log in my remember user and password is enable. My first thought was that maybe it was disable in the System Preferences but as I went  to  MSDGP > Tools > Setup > System > System Preferences >> is enable. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Eleazar Reyes

I was having the same problem and finally I found the fix!

Options--privacy & security--history--unclick, always use private browsing mode--restart your computer.

After restarting my computer the forms and passwords box was already checked. If not, check it and you will start getting the remember passwords box just like you use to.

Go to the Dex.ini Settings on the GP installed folder(ProgramFiles>>Microsoft Dynamics GP >>GP2013>>Data) and search for the "RememberUser". If it was not found on the dex.ini add the syntax "RememberUser=TRUE" line to his Dex.ini and save. If it was there and it was set it as "FALSE" change it to "TRUE"

Note: Before making changes to the dex.ini file , take a backup.
