How to disable print button when report already printed

Hi Guys!

has anyone already do this?

Sames question with this >>>> Link1 and Link2

and also have a setup or maintenance that can reprint "Request reprint".

Hi JEMT,

I can only think to enable user to access check box print during the invoice posting parameter and blocking their access right in the "Tax invoice journal>Show original" and >Use print management.

let them have access to "Tax invoice journal>Show copy" to preview later on.

When they need to print original copy, grant access right to manager only to access "Show original", but the request must be perform manually (via email etc).

If this is not practical or not meet your requirement then customization is required.

JEMT,

You can make it work with

1. Add a 'printed' flag in your main data record table of your report, and once your report is already printed, that 'printed' flag needs to be updated to true. Refer to Interest Note printing in AX for details of how to do that.

2. Once you have the status flag of that report, you can add logic based on it to control the printing behavior, destination and so forth.

i already done that.

but there is problem, the report preview is still open ..

how will i close the report preview right after the user print the report to the printer.

Please let me know how could I do this.

Hi jemt,

* Add one new field(Checkbox) to master table then when the report is running DP class process report method you update the value yes to new field

* Form level select the button property change to auto declaration set yes

* Form level disable the button based on the field value yes when the report print running set the value to yes, so automatically form level disable the button once report printed.

i already disable the button.

but the report is still showing.. i want to close the print preview after i print to the printer.

please let me know how to do that.
