Hi all,

is there any way to alert the users who create the journals (it may daily, vendor disbursement, invoice register) that the journal needs to be posted before end of the month in which they are created?

Yes. Using alerts you should be able to make this possible.

As long as you are on AX 2012 that is...

Without customization, you could ensure that the "Check Journalizing" field is active in the General Ledger Parameters. At least this will prevent the closing of periods if there are journals that are still open. You can then have a report (General Journal entries that have not been posted) printed and distributed through your portal.
