MBS told me to try to uninstall IE11 as stand alone browser following this docs.microsoft.com/.../edge-ie-disable-ie11
Group policy colleagues did not have the time to help me with this. So never tried it.
Where did we go with this Edde ???
Hi. Finally a colleague uninstalled IE11 following this:
Click Start and open Settings.
Click Apps.
Click Optional features.
In the list of installed features, locate Internet Explorer 11. Click on the entry, then click Uninstall.
Wait for the Latest Actions section to indicate reboot required.
Restart the computer
And the result. When clicking normal http links in Ax2012 Startpage nothing happens!!
As mentioned I'll talk to MS about it tomorrow.
BR, Ebbe
Thank you for your answer. I hope so. I got a meeting with Microsoft Support tomorrow. I'll try to remember to post the result here.
I was thinking it opened with the default web browser too, but from your reply, It's seems running with the current version(IE).(I don't think it's particularly dependent on IE11. )
Since we have never encountered such a problem, I don't think it will cause a serious problem.
Thank you for the answer. But no. Links from the Ax 2012 startpage allways opens in IE11. Maybe because of the IE11 Windows component that the startpage is based on.
I guess I got to test it on a PC with Ax2012 and IE11 disabled.
Isn't it simply using the default web browser, whichever it is?
