Invoicing and delivery on hold (Invoice) - WMS III question

I was testing the other day the behavior of the system when Invoicing and delivery on hold function in the Customer form is set to "Invoice" and noticed that when using the legacy WMS, AX will not even allow to create the Picking List for the Sales Order, but it will allow you to Release to Warehouse using WMS III functionality and will allow to process the order (picking, packing to containers) and will stop the user at the time of Packing Slip creation.

Is this a hole in functionality or are my settings incorrect?

Sounds like something that is fixed through a hot fix... I believe that this was an issue before. What CU are you on?
